Without further ado, here’s K.C. Stewart answering some of the weirder questions you’ll find in an author interview.  Enjoy!

ABOUT K.C. STEWART
K.C. Stewart lives in central Pennsylvania with her three cats. She is currently attending college online for Library Science while working full time as a photographer. In her spare time, which isn’t easy to find, she reads an obnoxious amount and writes in between everything else. K.C. has a very real addiction to gummy bears and talking to her cats when no one is around.

What kind of underwear does your antagonist prefer? (To wear, to see on their lover, etc.)

So I asked Silas and he just looked me over, slowly like he was savoring it, and then smirked. “I rather like letting you imagine what you will. However, I do feel I owe you some answer so I will tell you that a I prefer a woman in whatever makes her feel sexy. A confident sexy woman who knows she is sexy is something fierce.

What is your protagonist’s favorite color? (and don’t even try to pretend that you don’t know.)

Hailey likes red. It’s no real surprise though considering what Dak is.

How many times did you have to look up alternative words for body parts?

Well…I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to a few times. I have a note on my phone with a running list of words to use. I have body parts on there, emotions, actions, whatever strikes me as a good word.

In all your research for your books what is the strangest thing you have ever Googled?

If someone went through my browser history, I think they’d be frightened.  For Spark I remember spending hours looking at metals and how they melt. Finally Dak spoke up in my head and was like “stop wasting time and write the scene already.”

Have you ever Googled yourself?  If so, were you shocked by anything you found?

I have. (Who hasn’t?) Everything was what I expected.

Imagine your series is made into a movie, and you’ve been made casting director.  Who would star in your leading roles?

Well Hailey has and will always be Christina Perri. However, she is a musician. I’m still looking for the perfect Dacea. So far I’ve settled on Daniel DiTomasso. Silas is another one I’m still searching for. Adam Von Rothfelder has some of the aspects of Silas but he’s not “the one” either. Lia has always been Kaley Cuoco and Alex is Chris Pine.  Darby is probably the hardest. I have never found her yet. On my pinterest I have two pictures of her and neither shows a full face but give you more of an idea about her personality.
