Welcome to Crimson Elite,
the most exclusive sex club in the world.
Enter at your own risk, and always remember our number one rule—You must never speak of Crimson Elite—the punishment is severe.
Creed ‘Too Hot for Words’ Christopher
If God created the perfect man he would closely resemble Creed, on the outside that is. He’s as cavalier as they come. Unconcerned. Cold. Dismissive. I wonder if he has any feelings at all. And when his lips touch mine, everything goes black. He takes me into his world, and it’s the most magical thing I’ve ever experienced. And I’m sucked in time and time again. Like a moth to the flame, I am ready to be set alight.
Elicea ‘F*cks With My Head’ Beckham
Elicea is a firecracker. She has piqued my interest, and no one piques my interest anymore. Beautiful women are what I do—it’s my work. Not one of them has managed to get their claws into me the way she does. It’s as if she’s seeing my icy heart and trying to melt it, set it alight with each touch of her sinful lips. But that can’t work, it won’t work. Not in my world.
Avery’s Thoughts About the Book
An Intriguing Pair
This is a sunshine and grumpy novel that takes an unusual path. Instead of her winning him over, they have volcanic physical connection that morphs into something more, but let’s get one thing clear: she doesn’t really change him much. His behavior simply bends slightly to make room in his life for her. He’s still a cranky psychopath. For example, he finally gives in to his interest in her only to end the encounter by asking her to be a sex worker in his club. And when she freaks out, he’s positively baffled as to the reason. Creed has no clue how to deal with emotion outside of anger. See? Psychopath.
It’s a touch misleading to say this is a sex club novel. The story largely takes place at one but apart from the initial interior description the first time Elicea goes there, the fact that it’s a sex club is not a really major plot point. Crimson Elite is a private club with handpicked membership, handpicked girls, and if you get caught talking about it, there are literally grave consequences (that is a big part is Creed’s job). More than anything, the sex club’s part in this book is more to act as an engine for their conflict regarding what he does for work.
All of that being said, this was an excellent read. El is a fantastic female main character. She’s a bartender and we’re introduced to her right out of the gate by witnessing her slam a patron’s knuckles with her drink tray when he gets handsy with her ass. It’s the linchpin moment where she catches Creed’s attention and her life is never the same after that.
Overall, this is an excellent, quick read. As an Audible member, you can listen to the entire series without using an Audible credit. As I type out this review, I’m about to hit play on the fourth book in the series.
