Flash Fiction Challenge, Publishing News, Writing

Hey Guys! I just completed my first entry in the Flash Fiction Challenge!

Good afternoon, humans!

So this week’s news is a little bit of fun. 🙂 I recently launched a weekly writing exercise through my PR company called the Flash Fiction Challenge and in the wee hours this morning, I posted my first challenge entry.

The challenge assignment everyone was given was:

“Hold on. You died.”
“Yeah, well, it didn’t stick.”

For those unfamiliar, with a flash fiction challenge, you’re given a prompt to build a super-short story around it posted on Wattpad. For example, my first challenge ended up finishing out at 1,669 words (most novels are 40,000-80,000 words long). See? Super short. 🙂

If you enjoy writing, whether it be as a hobby or professionally, you should consider joining! It’s a quick little activity every week to keep your writer brain in shape. It’s totally FREE and a lot of fun. 🙂

(It only takes about 3 minutes.)

Happy reading!

  1. It is often harder to write something short. The hundred word flash is fun.
