Audiophiles! Check out LIGHT SINGER by Audrey Grey!!

This past December, I had the pleasure of proofing the LIGHT SINGER audiobook for my client Audrey Grey and I fell in love with her Kingdom of Runes world. I hadn’t read it until then and I’m officially a fan. If you’re not familiar with Audrey’s work, she writes fantasy in a completely original world (whereas my series is a fictionalized version of this world). Her characters are diverse, the magic is in your face, and by Light Singer, the love story is steamy. They’re not short books so if you’re looking to get consumed by an exciting and unique fantasy world, dive in now! Then, you can join me and the rest of her fans desperately waiting for the next book.

I don’t always love the audiobooks I proof so please know that I’m sharing this as someone who genuinely enjoyed the story. Also, you may be familiar with the narrator, Vanessa Moyen. She’s the voice behind another series I love, the Force of Nature series by Amber Lynn Natusch. She’s a wonderful voice actor and she’s great with fantasy. This series was no exception.

I’ve included more info about the book and series below. Have you read or listened to the series? If so, share your thoughts in the comments. I feel like I’m a touch late to the game finding Audrey. Are there any Stolas fangirls here on the blog???

Haven escaped the clutches of the new Sun Sovereign
and found solace in Shadoria, but for how long?

Now that the extent of her powers is known, Solis, Noctis, and mortals all hunt her. Meanwhile, chaos reigns across the land. The immortal realm is ruled by a depraved King who will stop at nothing to reclaim Haven as a weapon, while the mortal lands must choose between serving a tyrant or following Prince Bell, the Kinslayer.

And below, in the Netherworld, a great evil awaits, amassing an army of untold powers.

Hunted, plagued by doubt, and torn between duty and love, Haven must find a way to broker peace between the nations before it’s too late.

Welcome to the Kingdom of Runes where immortals and humans clash, light and dark magic reign, and mythical creatures lurk in the shadows. If you like fierce heroines, enemies-to-lovers romance, wild plot twists, and endearing characters that stay with you long after you reach the end, you need to discover the book readers are calling dark fantasy at its best. Just make sure to clear out some space on your calendar first!
