Welcome to my new site! Some of you may know me from my book blog Pure Textuality. Others may have no clue who I am.
My name is Jena and I write under the pen name J.M. Gregoire. I am about to publish my first work. It will be the prequel to my Demon Legacy series.
I originally started writing this book back in 2005, it got shelved and when the self-publishing boom hit, I decided to dust it off and give it a go. So, here I am.
My prequel is written and I am currently eyebrow deep in the editing phase of that little journey. I am not far off from a finished product and in all my pre-publishing excitement, I realized that although I have been documenting my writing journey over on Pure Textuality, I DIDN’T HAVE AN AUTHOR WEBSITE!! After I spent three days racked with anxiety over getting one up and running, I started building.
As you can probably tell by all of the “Coming Soon!” bombs scattered about the site, it is still very much under construction. I promise, it wont take me long to have everything firmly in place. Then I will change it. Then I will change it back. Then I will mess with the font. (I have a severe case of WordPress ADD).
Soon, I will have a cover reveal on here. Today I finished the cover for Burning (the Demon Legacy prequel) and in two weeks, I am going to give my fabulous artist the green light to start on the cover I commissioned from her for The Devil You Know (Demon Legacy Book 1).
Once Burning is published, it will be available for free. It’s only a short story, right around 6,000 words so I couldn’t imagine charging for it.

These are just me blathering on about writing and all that. … … Ok, that sentence wasn’t a good choice of words to convince you to read it but please do so. It’ll give you good perspective for how I got from Point A to Point B.
